Funniest Night Dream in Cartoons

Posted and Illustrated by:  Margie Babon

Have you experienced of having a night dream in full cartoons? I mean the feeling of watching cartoons in television that look so real but in a dream?

Here are the quick sketches  of the exact  sequence I have seen, this is the funniest night dream of mine in cartoons. Upon sleeping at 12 midnight, I have this dream of mother and a child. I wake-up giggling so loud and look at the time on the wall clock, it was only 1 in the morning.

Give Me Five Minutes

Posted By: Margie Babon

Stop watch

Time is flying so fast when we are fully engaged on the task in front of us especially meeting the deadlines. We cram, we rush, we even set aside to eat…every minute is important.

Once I went to a library, a man asked if he can share the table with me and I said yes and he replied, “Just five minutes of checking my email.”    Not everyone has the same character like him which only means, he can work with speed and he knows how to measure the task for a specific amount of time.

Have you tried challenging yourself on what are the tasks that can you do in five minutes?

Give me five minutes of your time and check out the list and the illustrations I did for you!

  1. Quickly check email. With five minutes, you can reply to at least three emails. Compose Mail

2. Scan and read important pages of the book.  Browse pageof the book

3. Review your weekly and monthly goals.

Try to finish the task in five minutes, it will help you building more confidence and will help you to move with speed. Moving with speed makes you feel more energetic and enthusiastic, a very good challenge that will give you surprises to know more about yourself on how you handle task in a short amount of time.

“Celf” (Self) Love

Posted by Margie Babon

Posting this humor illustration is not against social networking. But only a reflection of too much effect to people who are so addicted in exposing themselves in the virtual world no matter how they look.

Maybe  people in social network world want to get famous or could be they want total attention and tons of appreciation. From eating burger, walking in the street,  with their dogs, etc. As young as five years old has profile account even oldies seventy or eighty years old and above.

It is not about labeling the people, if that is how they want to express themselves, we respect that. But hey, privacy is very important in life. You really do’t need to know all the details or what’s going on in other people’s life. They are ok even if you don’t stalk to them from time to time.  Once in a while, shut off the noise  in your life including the social networking group and listen to your inner self.

We come up with a new term for people who are dying to take picture of themselves using a cellphone/camera in weird-creative-funny poses. We call it, “Celf Love,”  shorter for cellphone/camera that also read as “Self.”

Posting this caricature just for fun!

Celf Love 3

Tongue’s out is very common in social network profile picture whether young, kids or old. It’s a puzzle, what does it mean for them? Just to be in?

Celf Love 4

I’m Cutie!

Created this humor illustration as entry for Tolentino Museum in Italy, May 2013.

Stalker

Is this familiar?  Are you looking in a mirror and seeing yourself in one of the caricature? Hope not!

There are other things in which you can use your time productively and enjoy life not only thru’ virtual. Be pro reality: meet up your friends,  go out for a walk, enjoy the nature, meditate, work towards your dream, enjoy the sunshine,  etc. and most of all, let go, move forward, forgive and forget.

Worrying and stalking will make you sick! Stay happy and at peace.

Be a stalker for personal development and growth.

Posting this just for fun!
